Before venturing out as a private criminal defense and family law attorney in 2010, Scott Niemisto spent several years as an Assistant District Attorney with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, the largest and busiest DA’s office in New England. Prior to that he was with the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office in Barnstable. Scott knew that by first serving as an Assistant District Attorney he would be better equipped to defend adult and juvenile clients with a unique strategic advantage – firsthand knowledge of how a prosecution team operates.
Today, Scott uses his prosecutorial experience to be one step ahead in every defense and family law case. In his service as a criminal defense lawyer, he’s known for his no-nonsense approach to litigation and his ability to foster long-lasting relationships within the court system.
Scott’s clients appreciate his diligent process of discovering the facts and uncovering every possible course of action. He understands it can be extremely frustrating to navigate the complicated criminal justice system, so he keeps an open line of communication with clients, educating them and keeping them informed every step of the way.
